It could also be helping to get an automobile or dishwasher fixed-the needs will vary. This could be as simple as purchasing a special toy for a military child, purchasing gift cards to local grocery stores, or helping to pay an electric bill. If you or your organization is selected to help, the civilian family (or company or organization) will work through the military liaison to help the military family on a one time basis with their specific need. For those we have supported, we will rarely support the same military families more than once.Ĭivilian families, companies, and organizations may ask to be on a stand by list to anonymously assist a local military family that is brought to our attention by a military liaison.
